Today I’m reviewing the two clay/mud masks that I purchased a couple of weeks ago. They are from the brand QUICK FIX, I haven’t heard of it before but I decided to give it a try. I purchased this whilst I was walking through a local Tesco, I will link the item below from the Tesco website.
As you can see from the pictures the bottle on the left is a clay mask and the product is a white colour. On the right there is a mud mask and the product is more of a green colour. White clay masks are better for sensitive and red skin because it is the most gentle, it doesn’t absorb so much as it does soften with super gentle bits for a mild exfoliation. As my skin can get a little red and it somewhat sensitive I thought I would try this one, the clay mask when on is very smooth and light, it’s not too heavy and dries in 15-20 minutes. It does leave my skin feeling mildly smooth but I have more of a problem with blackheads and oily skin, so to me, I would personally buy the mud mask as it is better suited to me. However, if you are someone with very sensitive and red skin, the white clay would be better for you as you don’t feel that stinging sensation like you would with other masks.
The green mud mask is your go-to for exfoliation and pore-tightening on top of oil absorption. This mask absorbs oils and pulls blood towards the surface of the skin, giving you a bit of a tingling sensation as it boosts circulation. This mask, from the few times I have used it, has given me better results than anything I have used so far, the only fault is that the tingling sensation can feel a bit like burning, but nothing you can’t handle, obviously because it’s doing the job you want it to do. Personally I would buy this product again as it has done wonders for my skin. On the bottle it says ‘10 uses‘ but I have used this product a little over ten times and still have more than half the bottle left. If you use this carefully and precisely you will find that you only need a little product to make a change. The product dries in 15-20 minutes leaving a smooth and less bumpy feeling to the surface of your skin afterwards.
I purchased these two products for £3.00 each, which is £6.00 in total. This price is an absolute steal, honestly it’s so worth it if you want results after only a few uses. I don’t think the price could get any better and it’s cheap for anyone who cannot afford to splash out on all the fanciest masks that do the exact same job! If you would like to know where to buy these or are interested, I will drop the link below.
Hopefully you take into account this review before purchasing your product and remember to always read reviews before you do, you can save yourself a lot of money that way.
